The Band  about the band 2nd Legacy is a six piece band with strong blues-rock roots performing mostly original compositions and re-arrangements of old favorites. Some of the songs are laced with funk grooves and R&B feel, some are jazz-fusion while others even have a slight taste of country. Versatility is a word that comes to mind when describing the group and their music. From the gritty baritone voice of front-man Robert Adams to the tasteful guitar statements of guitarist John Saunders, 2nd Legacy provides a sax-laden filling from Frenchman (and Canadian) Philippe Bernard while healthy doses of acoustic and electric rhythm guitar are provided by Bob Lavallée. A powerful rhythm section comes courtesy of bassist John Hodges and eclectic drummer Jewry Ramos. The band was assembled in 2003 and played the Montreal Christian concert “Rockfest 2003” and is currently working toward their first recording.
